7th October 2018 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: waves Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 14.5 Weather: light cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: After trying to kitesurf, nback to windsurfing in stronger winds. Wind picking up as I arrived so 4.2m, dont know how some stayed on 4.7m. Low water but still head heigh waves with occassional logo-high further out. Faces fairly smooth. Wind almost dead onshore. A few nice back side rides. little gusty but only dropped off plance several times for 10-20 seconds. Good fun. recoving form a cold so gave up as tired. More kites than windsurfers, maybe onshore wind kept them away. Came in to depower sail and found middle fin was about to drop out as forgot to do SB screws up. i wondered why I was getting spon-out, just surprised it made that much difference. |
